Autumn Skin

Noticed your skin breaking out and looking dull recently? The change in seasons is probably to blame. The change in climate can lead to dead skin cell buildup, which in turn results in trapped oil and bacteria beneath the surface, this will unfortunately increased breakouts and dull skin.

Humidity levels tend to drop in Autumn due to outdoor temperatures cooling down. Often, low humidity levels cause dry air which promotes dull, dry, lacklustre and dehydrated skin. Central heating is notoriously drying on the skin as it essentially sucks the moisture out of the air, which can also lead to increased sensitivity.

To get your skin feeling back to its best, I would recommend exfoliating regularly. This helps to increase cellular regeneration and removes dead skin cells that can hinder the absorption of moisturisers or serums. Treating your skin to creams and serums which nourish, hydrate and plump will also help to get your glow back.

Here are a few products that I would recommend:

1.ELEMIS White flower Eye and lip makeup remover -

This product gently removes make up, refreshes and conditions the eyes and lips with Vitamin B5.

2. ELEMIS Superfood Fruit Vinegar Liquid Glow which brightens, balances and exfoliates or ELEMIS Soothing Apricot toner which soothes, calms and refreshes.

3. ELEMIS Pro Collagen Tri Acid Peel - Smoothes, renews and refines, to be used twice a week in the evening.

4. ELEMIS Dynamic resurfacing super C serum which minimises the appearance of pores, smoothes uneven skin texture and brightens skin tone. Or ELEMIS Pro Collagen super Serum Elixir which plumps, smoothes and nourishes.
